Our Off-Site Adoptions:
The City of Garland's shelter is located in an industrial area, with little street traffic. We increase pet's adoptions by taking the dogs and cats to a high traffic area. Currently, we hold off-site adoptions the 3rd Saturday of every month. Volunteers are needed to:
** Bathe the dogs the day before the adoption event (adults only please)
** On the Saturday Adoption Day - we always need volunteers to help set up, transport the dogs to and from the shelter and always..to walk and parade/show off the dogs and cats, and then to tear down/clean up afterwords.
**Adoption events are 9AM - 3PM (volunteers are needed from 8:15AM thru 4PM, you do not need to volunteer for the entire day)
