Garland Pawsabilities saved our Chrissy aka Christmas (previously "Precious"). We adopted her from Firewheel but when we brought her home we freaked out bc she scared our other pets when we brought her home. The volunteer staff walked us through what to do over the phone and now 9 months later Chriss and our other pets sleep together and love each other and we are such a happy family. We needed her as much as she needed us. Thank you!

Hi! We adopted Bella a (blk/white Husky/Border Collie mix with one green eye and one blue eye) in April at the Firewheel Mall event. She has been a great addition to our family and our sons love her to pieces! she's a great dog and I'm so glad we were able to save her life, she was just too beautiful to not adopt. Thanks to all the volunteers and the one that convinced us to adopt her!

Hi! We adopted our sweet Roxy (formerly Dixie) from the adoption event on January 23rd. She is a cute 5 month lab/schnauzer mix. She has brought so much joy and energy into our life, and we can't imagine life without her. We originally wanted a small old dog, but instead we got a big puppy, and we wouldnot change it for anything. She loves her many toys and chewing her bone on the couch. Her favorite times of the day are walks around the block and of course when she eats! Our home is now full of life thanks to Roxy and we are very grateful to your organization for bringing her into our lives. Thank you for all that you do!

My husband and I adopted a 4 1/2 month old female shepherd lab mix this past weekend. Sandy (fka Lyla) is a great addition to our family. She was playing fetch the very next day. She is very smart and has a great disposition. Sandy was adopted to replace a 14 year old pit mix we recently put down due to health issues. Our entire family loves Sandy. I adopted my Catahoula Leopard Dog Miss Dotty from the Garland Animal Selter. She has been such a joy to have around. She is so sweet, smart and beautiful. Wouldn't trade her for anything.
