Garland Pawsibilities (Garland Bark Park)
Home Page

Garland Pawsibilities, formerly known as Garland Bark Park is an IRS approved 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer organization. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and share one common passion - we love our dog and cat pets. Our focus is to help the City of Garland Shelter adopt out more dogs and cats and promote the need for spay and neutering of your pets.

Garland Pawsibilities does not have a facility and we do not foster dogs or cats. Our volunteers live all over the Garland and surrounding area, we come together the 3rd weekend of every month to hold off-site adoptions for our City Shelter. Taking the dogs and cats off site provides them the visibility they need to find a forever home.

The Garland Animal Shelter takes in approximately 12,000 dogs and cats each year, 50% are euthanized when the shelter runs out of room, the pet’s family does not claim them and no family comes to the shelter to adopt the pets.

Our Mission

·         Save the lives of dogs and cats brought to the Garland Animal Shelter by taking the adoptable animals out of the shelter and finding them a forever home

·         Raise awareness for the need of a new adoption facility for the City of Garland.

·         Provide pet education information – spay/neuter; general health; training.

We are always looking for volunteers - save a life...volunteer

WE ARE EXPERIENCING A VOLUNTEER SHORTAGE, VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED SO WE CAN HOLD MORE OFF-SITE ADOPTIONS AND SAVE MORE LIVES. CAN YOU SPARE 1 DAY A MONTH?
